sing a song of sunshine

sunshine
Sing a song of sunshine,
While the days are bright,
Store up joyous, golden notes
For the long, dark night.
Happen you may need them soon,
Shades of evening follow noon.

Sing a song of happiness
When the heart is young,
It may tune the heart of one
Who know song has sung.
And so make another strong,
For the gladness in the song.

Sing a song of trustfulness
When the dark days fling
Spells of gloom and weariness
Over everything,
Greater tribute none can pay,
To the Maker of each day.
